Season presenting partner integration

As the presenting partner of the Anaheim Ducks' regular season, UCI Health should be included in seasonal contexts (e.g., when referring to a game or schedule). It is unlikely to be shown in any contexts where another external party is involved, but please consult the Anaheim Ducks Brand Marketing team when in doubt.

When our primary mark occupies less than 10% or so of a digital graphic, the UCI Health logo will be detached to maximize legibility. When detached, the "presented by" designation is also dropped.

The UCI Health mark should remain legible; be cautious of making it too small.

Key guidelines

Our full-color primary mark needs a white outline when used on backgrounds with a color value of 50% or more.

Remember: If it's difficult to tell where the black puck behind Wild Wing's mask ends and the background color begins, you're in trouble.

The registered trademark symbol and season presenting partner mark should always be consistent with the outermost color of the primary mark.

Clear space + usage

Our logo deserves consistent room to breathe. Adequate clear space protects the integrity of our mark—and that of UCI Health.

The minimum clear space is B, equal to the width of Wild Wing's gold eyebrow in the full-color mark. This is measured from the outermost black line in the mark (encompassing any potential season presenting partner).

In other words, the white outline necessary for darker backgrounds counts towards the minimum clear space requirement.

Monotone marks

When necessary, a single-color white or black version of the mark may be used.

Remember: Wild Wing's mask should always be the lightest part of our mark. Keep this in mind particularly when dealing with:

  • Embroidery and etching

  • Translucent materials such as glass (what color/visual will typically be behind this material?)

  • Tonal designs

  • Any combination of the above
